Child-led, curiosity-first learning rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage — indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, but here the curriculum starts with your child: our practitioners watch what fascinates each one, then stretch it further — building, painting, role play, stories, sand and water, music and mark-making, indoors and out.
Along the way we build the quieter skills too: sharing, listening, managing feelings, independence and a love of books — encouraging every child, and gently challenging them, because thriving means being stretched as well as supported.
Every child here has a key person — one practitioner who knows them inside out, settles them in the morning, and is your first point of contact. It's how we stay feeling like family.

Tables turn into workshops, floors become construction sites, and every corner holds a new invitation to explore. Our practitioners are right beside the children — listening, observing, gently extending the play.
It's the EYFS in motion: following their fascinations, building the confidence to try, and the joy of discovering what they can do.
We use Famly, a secure online learning journal, to share photos, observations and next steps, so you never miss a milestone.

Our bright, open-plan room on Cann Hall Road is set up for up to 40 children — small enough that every child is known, big enough for friendships to flourish.
The best way to picture your family here is to visit. Come and see a morning in action, meet the team, and feel the warmth for yourself.
We offer funded hours for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year-olds. Find out what's available for your family.
