We are a welcoming term-time pre-school for children aged 2–4, based on Cann Hall Road, where our team builds strong relationships with children and families.

Since 2012, we have welcomed children and families into a warm, diverse early-years setting on Cann Hall Road. Over the years, our focus has remained on building strong relationships, helping children feel secure and giving them meaningful opportunities to learn through play and everyday experiences.
Morning Glory Pre-School was founded in September 2012 by Elizabeth Oyinka-Antwi. Today, local children of every background and ability learn and play here together, each with a dedicated key person who gets to know them as an individual.

BA (Hons) Early Childhood
Susan leads our setting and holds advanced safeguarding, paediatric first aid and anaphylaxis training. Her particular passion is early speech and language: helping every child find their voice.
Deputy Manager
Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma
Timara creates playful activities that build confidence and independence. Away from pre-school, she loves time with her son.
Early Years Practitioner
NCFE CACHE Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas
Roda helps children build confidence, independence and strong friendships through play and creativity.
Lead Practitioner
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce
Shakina supports children's development through play, creativity and positive relationships.
Our Manager, Susan, holds a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood, and our practitioners are qualified to Level 3 in Early Years Childcare.
Between us, our team speaks English, Bengali, Twi and Arabic, which helps many families feel at home from their first visit.
Our setting
Our room on Cann Hall Road and our outdoor space give children room to play, explore and try new things every day.
Working with families
You know your child best. Working closely with parents and carers helps us understand each child and support them consistently between home and pre-school.
Your child's key person is your first point of contact, and we share photos, observations and next steps through Famly, our secure online learning journal.
You tell us about your child's routines, interests and what matters at home, so we can build on it at pre-school.
Every child has a key person who builds a close relationship with them and with you.
We work with you to help your child settle in gently and, later on, to prepare for the move to school.
If your child may need additional support, we work with you, and with other professionals where appropriate.
