Morning Glory Pre-School was founded in September 2012 by Elizabeth Oyinka-Antwi — more than 40 years in childcare and a founder who lives and breathes the early years.
Everything we do is built on three simple ideas that have guided us since 2012.
Since then, hundreds of children of every background and ability have learned, played and thrived here together — and from our home on Cann Hall Road, our qualified, multilingual team still welcomes up to 40 children: small enough that every child is known, big enough for friendships to flourish.
Purpose
Safe, inclusive, EYFS-led care for every child in our community.
Mission
To connect families with caring, qualified early years educators.
Promise
Childcare that builds joyful, lasting memories — not just supervision.

"With more than 40 years in childcare, I live and breathe the early years. Every child deserves to be seen, heard and celebrated — that's the heart of Morning Glory Pre-School."
Elizabeth founded Morning Glory Pre-School in September 2012, bringing decades of experience and a deep belief in inclusive, child-led care. Her vision has shaped a setting where children of every background and ability learn, play and thrive together.

Leadership
Manager & SENCO
Susan leads our setting with more than 25 years in early years education, a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, and qualifications as a SENCO Coordinator and EYFS Planning and Assessment Coordinator, alongside advanced safeguarding, paediatric first aid and anaphylaxis training. Her passion is early speech and language: helping every child find their voice.

Lead Practitioner
Over 10 years with young children and a Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma, Timara creates playful activities that build confidence and independence. Away from pre-school, she loves time with her son.

Early Years Practitioner
With over 20 years in childcare and NCFE CACHE Level 2 and 3 diplomas, Roda helps every child build confidence, independence and strong friendships through play and creativity.

Pre-School Assistant
Four-plus years with young children, an ATHE Level 4 in Management for Health and Social Care, and advanced safeguarding training. Meriem loves supporting learning through play, creativity and warm relationships.
Between us, we speak English, Bengali, Twi and Arabic.
A warm, welcoming space with dedicated areas for reading, creative play, role play, construction, and sensory exploration.
An outdoor area for active play, plus Forest School-inspired mud kitchen and nature learning beside a local forest.

From bottle-stamp art to Gruffalo masks, water play to wooden train tracks — every day is built around what sparks each child. We watch what fascinates them, then stretch it further.
Hundreds of children of every background and ability have learned, played and thrived here together. That's the Morning Glory Pre-School way.
