At Morning Glory Pre-School, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. If we identify that a child may need additional support, we work closely with parents and carers to understand their needs and plan appropriate next steps.
Our SENCO team observes children carefully and creates supportive strategies tailored to each child's individual development. Where appropriate, we may work alongside external professionals and agencies.

EHCP support
For children with more complex needs, we can support families through the process of requesting additional support or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) where necessary.
An EHCP is a legal support plan for children with significant additional needs who require more specialist support than a nursery or school can normally provide alone. We believe strong partnerships with families are essential and ensure parents are fully involved throughout every stage of support and decision-making.
We follow the SEND Code of Practice and work closely with families and external professionals to support children with additional needs.
